As an MSc IT student nearing graduation from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, I’ve developed strong foundations in software engineering through both academic and practical experience. My journey has involved working with a wide range of programming languages and technical tools, allowing me to build versatile and scalable web apps. I’m driven by curiosity and a passion for continuous learning, always seeking innovative ways to tackle complex problems.
As a software developer, I’ve cultivated strong skills in building web applications—both independently and within collaborative team environments. My time at Robert Gordon University has been instrumental in developing my problem-solving, communication and teamwork abilities through hands-on involvement in large-scale software projects.
One of the most rewarding experiences was participating in RGUHack, the university’s annual hackathon. This dynamic event brings together students to tackle real-world challenges faced by industry professionals. It provided an excellent platform to sharpen my technical skills while working under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Among my academic projects, MediMart stands out—a full-stack web application built using ASP.NET, Angular and SQL Server. This project showcased my ability to design and implement scalable, secure and maintainable multi-role systems using modern development frameworks and best practices.
Additionally, I collaborated with six other students to develop a robust Event Management App in CMM004 Software Project Engineering. My primary focus was ASP.NET API development and implementing JWT-based authentication, further strengthening my expertise in secure architecture and effective team collaboration.
